In 2002, ADLER’s Certificate in Professional Coaching was the first program in Canada to be accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Our coach training offerings have since expanded to train thousands of learners across the globe with both in-house deliveries and private coach training offerings that address both the art and science of the coaching practitioner.

The ADLER Approach

The curriculum for our coach training program is grounded in the coaching competencies of the ICF. Great care has been taken to achieve a balance between conceptual and experiential learning modes. Our Coach-Instructors are valued for their highly interactive and engaging teaching, with emphasis on practice and practical application. Our coaching training program is offered in English and Turkish. Our training incorporates discrete coaching skills and behaviours that support positive interpersonal interactions in a number of areas, such as: 

• learning and skill development
• creating new relationships 
• improving overall performance 
• dealing with challenging work situations/conflicts 
• deep listening
• acknowledgment

Part 1: Foundations of Professional Coaching

32 hours / $1895 + HST

Pre-requisites: 18 years of age or older.

Part 2: Transformational Coaching: Applications to Client Context

(Formerly "Coaching in the Context of Work")

30 hours / $1895 + HST

Pre-requisites: 18 years of age or older.

It is advised that the student be enrolled in OR have completed Foundations before they enrol in Transformational Coaching: Applications to Client Context

 

Part 3: Deep Coaching: The Coach's Signature Presence

(formerly "Moving Towards Artful Coaching")

30 hours / $1895 + HST

Pre-requisites: 18 years of age or older.

It is advised that the student be enrolled in OR have completed Foundations and Transformational Coaching before they enrol in Deep Coaching

Part 4: Practicum

48 hours / $3250

Pre-requisites:

• Foundations of Professional Coaching
• Coaching Conversations in the Transformational Coaching: Applications to Client Context
• Enrolled in or completed Moving Toward Deep Coaching: The Coach's Signature Presence
• Minimum 15 hours of client coaching experience (peer/volunteer/paid clients)

Part 5: Mentor Coaching

10 hours / $1300 + HST

Pre-requisites:

• Foundations of Professional Coaching
• Coaching Conversations in the Transformational Coaching: Applications to Client Context
• Minimum 15 hours of client coaching experience (peer/volunteer/paid clients)

ACPC Exam: Performance Evaluations

By request / $500

Pre-requisite:

• Upon completion of the whole Coach Training program
• 100 hours of coaching experience.

The ADLER Certified Professional Coach exam is available by request for students that wish to test their knowledge, receive formal feedback from an ICF-trained marker, and earn the prestigious credential of an ADLER certified coach.
